- Chicago girl raises $22,000 for Children’s Hospital with friendship bracelets. Hayley Orlinsky, 7, has sold some 9,000 bracelets to raise money for Covid-19 equipment at the hospital that cared for her as an infant.

- Girl writes a letter to Santa asking to see her friend again … it worked. When 7-year-old Annalisse Hocking recently sat down to write her annual “Dear Santa” letter, it wasn’t toys or games she put at the top of her Christmas wish list.
- Pennsylvania man buys 30 Christmas trees for families in need. Jeff Graham of York, PA, pulled up to the nearby McPherson’s Tree Farm in a flatbed truck and asked for 30 Christmas trees – a request that cost $1,100.

- The world’s 3rd-largest grocery chain eliminates over 20 million single-use plastic wrappings from its Christmas products line. Tesco has also stopped using glitter for all single-use products and packaging. Wrapping paper, gift bags, cards, and more are all now glitter-free and widely recyclable.
