5-Minute Box Breathing Exercise
Welcome to this 5-minute box breathing exercise.
We recommend you complete this exercise laying down with your head propped up on a pillow.
We’re going to be inhaling slowly through the nose to the count of 4, pausing to the count of 4, exhaling through the nose to the count of 4, and pausing to the count of 4 before repeating the whole pattern.
It can also help to place a hand on your belly to make sure you are engaging the diaphragm and taking the most efficient breath possible.
