This 10-minute meditation is designed specifically for dealing with anxiety.
Taking the time to just sit and be present while you’re feeling anxious is no easy task. However, bringing a little awareness to your breath and experimenting with peaceful visualizations are two of the best ways to overcome these feelings and return to a base level of calmness.
We will utilize both those techniques in this 10-minute meditation for anxiety. We will also work on gently extending our exhales which stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which stops our flight-or-fight response in its tracks.
Remember that even if it doesn’t feel like it, this too shall pass. By searching out this exercise you are already on the right track.
